When I was a young man my father told me that in order to be successful in life you had to do something you loved; I have heeded those words and never looked back. I am my happiest behind my camera. I truly love going to work because I know every day is going to offer a new and different challenge and a new artistic vision to bring to life.

I like to create simple, yet timeless, images that capture the true essence of my subject. In doing so, I hope to create works of art that will become priceless family heirlooms.

I am a lucky man because I get to work with my wonderful wife that has been by my side in this business for 24 years. We work together as a team, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. She is always pushing me to do bigger and better things and, likewise, I am her motivation. I won’t say every day is perfect, but we must be doing something right to have lasted working together for all these years without killing each other!!!!!

When we are not at the studio photographing or going around the country studying with the best photographers in the world to hone our craft, you will find me combing the internet or mountains of photography magazines learning all the newest techniques and gadgets. India, on the other hand, will be searching the flea markets and the internet for great props for her sweet babies, as she likes to call all the children that enter the studio. In a nutshell, I am the technical and she is the artistic side of the business.

On the home front we are blessed to be the parents of 5 beautiful children, all of whom I am happy to say are grown and out on their own. They, in kind, have blessed us with two precious grandchildren and a third that’s on the way. This Papa says keep the blessings coming! The more the merrier…

From my father’s words to our growing brood today, family has always been essential to my happiness, so I understand the importance of capturing all of your family’s memories. Because of this, I will do my best to turn your family milestones into art.
